wedding in Mexico?
A The best time of the year in Puerto Vallarta
and Sayulita is late October through May. There
are warm sunny
days, cool nights, and generally no rain.
Q What is the benefit of having a destination
wedding?
A According to the brides I have spoken to, it
is like having a great party and vacation with
your best friends and family. There is less
stress, everyone feels they are on vacation, and
lastly, the couple does not have to worry about
all of the details they normally would be
concerned with back home, such as finding a site
and locating vendors.
Q How soon ahead should I plan a destination
wedding?
A Since your guests need to plan their time-off
etc. you should at least let them know a year in
advance to save that date. Some sites have
become extremely busy and also require a one year
notice. The rest can be accomplished in 6
months.
Q Should I set aside 1 or 2 weeks for the
wedding?
A If you can, 2 weeks would be perfect, 1 week
for pre, during and post-wedding activities,
and 1 week to spend on your own like a
honeymoon.
